The Sac City Motel is a Quaint, comfortable "Ma & Pa" motel that offers the friendly, comfortable atmosphere that our guests really enjoy and appreciate!

We keep the rooms exceptionally clean and guest friendly.  We do all we can to make our guest's stay memorable.

We have 14 rooms, five doubles with two full beds, one room with 3 beds and 8 singles with queen size beds. We have kid's and adult's cots for additional use in the rooms.

I bought the Motel in April 2000 and since then every window & door has been replaced and the rooms have all been completely remodeled. There is a new fridge & microwave in every room. New ceiling fans, TV, beds, glider rockers, desks, chairs and a cordless phone in every room for the added freedom of our guests. 

Our entire motel parking lot has been surfaced with black top. The truck and trailer parking area on the east side of the motel is also newly surfaced. We have a restaurant within walking distance just across Hwy 20.  We now also have a huge parking area for truck and RV parking on our newly purchaced parking lot adjacent to the Motel. Electric plug-ins are installed in three locations on the new lot. Immediately to our south is the Sac City bottle shop. When you show your room key, you receive a half bag of ice daily, for only 25 cents. We also have containers of drink ice in the office for our guests.

We cater to hunters, supply them freezer storage space, bird cleaning area with running water and work benches.  When I am available, I also do a bird cleaning service for our guests.

The Sac City Motel is the only motel in town, although we do also have one B&B in town.  We are also the only motel on Hwy 20 between Rockwell City and Moville (basically Sioux City), a distance of 75 miles.

Now to better serve our guest we now offer a coin operated washer and dryer for all guests to use.

We will take guest check ins 24 hours a day. Our normal office hours are 7AM to 10PM.  We have a night bell for after hour check ins.  We appreciate people waking us up to check in to the Motel!
